I wanted this item as we were taking a long road trip and I wanted to be sure my watch remained usable. I like the simplicity of this device, and I can plug it into my lap top while I am working on it. That’s the one issue with it, if the computer is off, the watch doesn’t charge. It can be used with a USB plug though, as long as you can lay the watch on it.

If you have a plug that allows you to keep the charger curved side up, it works great. It is nice and compact for travel. If you are in a hotel room that has plugs going up and down, this device won’t work. Since I bought it primarily for travel, I find I have to search the room for a plug this is facing the right way.
