IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, soared to new heights and touched new frontiers in 2023. Not only did it become India’s first airline to fly 100 million customers, but also the first in the country to operate 2,000 daily flights. In this process, it cemented its place among the Top 10 airlines in the world and achieved many other landmarks along the way. Presenting India by IndiGo – some interesting stories, anecdotes and facts that make us India’s most loved airline.

- Nearly 20 million were corporate travellers
- And more than 84 million travelled for leisure or to meet their loved ones

- The eternal debate between beaches and hills was settled in favour of the beaches in 2023! More than 20 million passengers headed for the coast and more than 3.8 million took a ‘peak’ at the mountains
- November 25, 2023, marked the busiest day on our network. Looks like the post Diwali party continued.
- Delhi – Mumbai was the busiest route on our network. And one thought that the two cities don’t get along!
- 73,577 takeoffs from our busiest domestic city – Delhi
- 5,469 takeoffs from our busiest international destination – Dubai
