Costa has all the coffee you could ever want, and sandwiches, cakes and croissants too. The Olive Tree coffee bar has coffees downstairs, and The Olive Tree Restaurant has a large area upstairs with a typical bar menu, including breakfast. When I went skiing in January, we ordered scrambled eggs which were pretty underwhelming, but the wraps and Full Englishes looked good.
They have a full bar, and serve the menu through the day.
Executive lounge at Southampton Airport
Travellers seeking a more luxurious and peaceful pre-flight experience can access the airport’s executive lounge – the Spitfire Lounge. This exclusive space provides a comfortable environment where passengers can unwind and relax before boarding their flight.
In the Spitfire Lounge you can enjoy complimentary refreshments, access to charging points, newspapers, magazines, and a serene atmosphere away from the ‘hustle and bustle’ of the main terminal.
Last time I was there (flying to Geneva in January) there was absolutely no hustle and bustle, and only about 10 flights on the board for the whole day. But, in the height of summer, this could be worth it.
The Spitfire Lounge offers great value for money. Sit back, relax and enjoy our complimentary Breakfast or All Day Menu with a hot beverage, refreshing soft drink, chilled glass of wine or beer.
