The experts at Titan Travel have analysed the availability of vegan food options using Tripadvisor cuisine data, to determine the most vegan-friendly destinations for plant-based travellers.

The Spanish city of Barcelona has the world’s highest number of vegan restaurants, with 16.11 restaurants per km2, perhaps a surprise given the widespread use of meats and cheese in traditional Catalan dishes.
Paris is crowned the second-best vegan foodie hotspot in the world, with 13.67 vegan restaurants per km2. The City of Love also caters to vegetarianism more than any other city in our study, with 37.47 restaurants per km2.
Denpasar is crowned the third-best city for vegan food, with 7.97 vegan-friendly restaurants per km2. Indonesian cuisine is incredibly varied due to the number of different cultures that have developed on the islands within the country and Denpasar even has 10.20 vegetarian restaurants per km2.
