Leaders from Sabre Corporation will take the stage at this year’s ITB Berlin Convention to share insights on the role of artificial intelligence, the evolution of retailing in travel, and recent developments and trends around sustainability.
- In an executive interview, Sabre Travel Solutions’ Chief Product and Technology Officer, Garry Wiseman, will explore the impact of artificial intelligence on the travel industry. Sabre has been leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence for years, for instance through Sabre Travel AI, a technology that learns continuously from consumer behavior, helping travel businesses redefine their retailing and customer strategies. - Chinmai Sharma,Global Head – Lodging, Ground & Sea, Sabre Travel Solutions will discuss how travel operators can harness technology and data-driven insights to deliver tailored offers, experiences, and services that cater to today’s guests’ ever-changing preferences and behaviors (March 6 at 2:45 pm, Hall 7.1a Orange Stage).
- Lindsay Millward, Senior Director Commercial, Airline EMEA, Sabre Travel Solutions will join a panel on current trends in airline retailing and distribution (March 7 at 12:45 pm, Hall 6.1 eTravel Stage).
- Jessica Matthias, Sabre’s Director of Sustainability, will join a panel to discuss how the travel industry can leverage innovative technology to promote conservation, minimize environmental impact, and foster responsible travel choices (March 7 at 3:15 pm, Hall 7.1a Orange Stage).
Technology buyers visiting this year’s event will be able to connect with Sabre at two trade fair booths, one dedicated to its airline IT and travel distribution business, the other focused on hospitality IT.
In hall 5.1, booth 106 the Sabre Travel Solutions team will be on hand to demo the latest updates to point-of-sale tool Sabre Red 360 booking NDC-enabled content as well as accommodation through Sabre’s Content Services for Lodging, a technology solution that integrates multiple sources of lodging content including from Sabre’s GDS and aggregators. Since the last ITB, Sabre has made available the NDC content from American Airlines, United, Scandinavian Airlines, LATAM, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa Group und Malaysia Airlines. Also showcased will be Sabre Virtual Payments, a unique, secure, automated end-to-end virtual payment solution that is a key focus area for Sabre following the acquisition of Conferma in 2022 and the strategic partnership with Mastercard.
In hall 9, booth 207, the Sabre Hospitality team will showcase SynXis Central Reservation System as well as Studios, spaces for hoteliers to create their hospitality, with capabilities from retail to distribution to operations. Each Studio offers tools designed for a specific purpose, from configuring distribution and retailing to streamlining operations. Also featured will be Nuvola, a prominent provider of hotel service optimization and guest engagement software allowing hoteliers to connect their teams and elevate services, that was acquired by Sabre in 2022. Another highlight is the product suite of Techsembly, a leader in the gift card business for hoteliers, that has been a part of Sabre since July 2023.
