Melbourne Skydeck is partnering with the Good Friday Appeal to raise funds that play a vital role in enabling the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne to provide world-class care. The partnership kicks off on 1 March with two opportunities for the visitors to support the fundraiser.
From 1 March, Melbourne Skydeck will display observational window stickers on the North, South, East and West facing windows. Each sticker will have a dedicated QR code encouraging visitors to donate to their preferred geographical region of Melbourne and greater Victoria.
One lucky entrant from the highest geographic donation area will win an Altitude Lunch Package experience for a family of four that pairs entrance to Melbourne Skydeck and all of its thrilling virtual-reality activities with a three-course family friendly lunch at Eureka 89. The package is valued at $380, with the winner selected by a random draw on 2 April 2024.
The second opportunity to raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal is on Good Friday itself. On this day, Melbourne Skydeck will donate 25% of direct general admission ticket sales to the Good Friday Appeal, meaning every Melbourne Skydeck visitor on that day contributes to this worthwhile cause.
“Last year, Melbourne Skydeck raised over $11,000 in donations on Good Friday alone,” says Cesar Piotto, Executive General Manager of Attractions and Dining at Journey Beyond. “This year, we’re aiming sky high with a target of more than $20,000.”
Melbourne Skydeck invites everyone to make a difference via these fundraising efforts that help children in need in March.
