Hotel booking platform HotelPlanner has acquired PetsWelcome.com, which helps travelers find accommodations that are pet-friendly.
The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Chris Kingsley and Fred Grayson founded PetsWelcome.com in 1997 to link travelers with hotels and accommodations providers that welcome pets.
HotelPlanner plans to integrate PetsWelcome.com’s accommodations directory and resources with its own platform.
“Together, we will build on the strong foundation that PetsWelcome.com has created and further expand our offerings for pet-friendly travel,” Rosenberg said.
In 2021, HotelPlanner announced plans to merge with Reservations.com and list on the public markets, but the two canceled the deal early the next year. HotelPlanner’s past acquisition include Hotel Hotline in 2016 and Internet Hotels in 2017.
