Below, we asked HeyMax co-founder and CEO Joe Xizhi Lu to share strategic goals for 2026 and lessons learned since founding.
Strategic goals for 2026
HeyMax, with its popular Max Miles interoperable travel loyalty currency, is expanding rapidly in frequent travelers’ destinations, starting with Singapore and Hong Kong. We are soon expanding to Japan, Taiwan, Australia and South Korea. By serving more travelers and more merchants in more frequented destinations, HeyMax is defragmenting the rewards customers are getting, helping consumers simplify their reward experience and amplify the engagement and marketing results for businesses.
Lessons learned since founding
Everyone is participating in the traveler economy, not only when you travel, but nowadays, every card swipe is earning you miles. Daily spends are also empowering local businesses and shoppers to be participating in the traveler economy. Those businesses who embrace the growth of the traveler economy are winning because nowadays, almost everyone is a traveler, and travel is changing from being a luxury to a necessity for the majority of people in the world.
