Cathay Pacific Airways Launches its New Aria Business Class Suite

Cathay Pacific Airways is set to elevate the travel experience by launching its new Aria business class suite on 18 October 2024. This exciting development will debut on the route from Hong Kong to Beijing, utilising the newly reconfigured Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Flight Schedule

  • Departure from Hong Kong: 12:00 PM
  • Arrival in Beijing: 3:30 PM
  • Return from Beijing: 4:50 PM
  • Arrival in Hong Kong: 8:35 PM

Aircraft Configuration

The reconfigured 777-300ERs (77J) will feature:

  • 45 Aria Suites in a 1-2-1 configuration
  • 48 Premium Economy seats in a 2-4-2 configuration
  • 268 Economy seats in a 3-4-3 configuration

This new layout includes five additional seats in the business cabin and 16 more in premium economy compared to the previous configuration.

Aria Suite Features

The Aria Suite promises a luxurious and private experience with:

  • Sliding doors and a privacy partition between the centre seats
  • 24-inch 4K IFE monitor
  • Personalised suite lighting
  • Wireless charging and Bluetooth capabilities
  • storage unit with a mirror
  • An additional smaller storage space is revealed by sliding across the suite’s cocktail table

Premium Economy Enhancements

The refreshed premium economy product will offer:

  • 15.6-inch IFE screens
  • winged headrest
  • personal reading light
  • generous recline and legroom

Economy Class Upgrades

Even the economy class seats on these 777-300ER aircraft have been upgraded, featuring:

  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • ledge that folds down to hold drinks and personal devices
