Capital One Ventures, United Airlines Ventures invest in Mindtrip

Capital One Ventures and United Airlines Ventures (UAV) have invested in Mindtrip, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2025.

The artificial intelligence (AI)-powered travel platform did not disclose how much the two firms invested but said the company has raised $22.5 million in total.

“We started Mindtrip with a vision to turn travel inspiration into action, and the response from both the industry and travelers has been extraordinary,” said Mindtrip co-founder and CEO Andy Moss. “Whether helping travelers uncover hidden gems or giving destinations and hotels new ways to engage their guests, Mindtrip is redefining how travel is planned and experienced.”

Capital One Ventures and UAV join existing investors such as Amex Ventures, Forerunner Ventures and Costanoa Ventures.

Nathan Krishnamurthy, partner at Capital One Ventures, said Mindtrip is “setting the bar” for travel planning.

“Strong engagement from travelers can be predictors of retention, and we find Mindtrip’s early traction encouraging,” Krishnamurthy said. “We value new ways to unlock possibilities for the modern explorer and look forward to Mindtrip’s continued innovation in the travel space.”

Mindtrip launched in May 2024 following its $7 million in seed funding round in 2023.

Just last month, Mindtrip launched B2B hotel tools, and in October, it launched travel inspiration and organization tools. The company also acquired Thatch and launched a mobile app earlier this year. In 2024, Mindtrip saw multiple raises and launched a receipt tool and B2B solution.
