The Phocuswright Conference 2025 Launch Innovator: Wenrix

Wenrix, an artificial intelligence (AI) solution for travel, was the runner up for Travel Innovator of the Year as part of Phocuswright’s Launch: Innovation program.

During a presentation at The Phocuswright Conference in San Diego, CEO Amir Balaish said Wenrix’s DeepFlow product “closes the execution gap between the traveler’s request and the supplier’s action.”

“DeepFlow is the perfect servicing infrastructure for travel. It automates the entire post-booking lifecycle: refunds, exchanges, no-shows, flight disruptions, ancillaries and more across EDIFACT, NDC and very soon, LCC,” Balaish said.

DeepFlow has three technology layers: one that understands the service request and booking context, one that uses AI for airline policy monitoring and another that executes.

Balaish said that the model sets itself apart due to its exclusive focus on flights and back-office solutions.

“DeepFlow isn’t just about automating services. It unlocks new possibilities, helping you to move from being reactive to proactive [and] automatically handle flight disruptions, shift servicing from being a cost center to revenue driver by boosting upsells … and that is being ready for an AI future where chatbots can finally operate as we all imagined them.”

Wenrix has raised approximately $24 million through Series A and B rounds, launching its DeepFlow product late last month.
